Suliman Onque is a multifaceted Olympic artist from Newark NJ . He Has been in over 80 different Art exhibits throughout his art career. He has done everything from murals to art placement in music videos and movies. With over 100 different public art displays to his credit. Suliman celebrated the 10th anniversary of his self published comic book “Super Sketch Painter TM (2015.) In 2024 he was chosen to go exhibit art for the Paris Olympics. Along with “3 the Art Way” and “The Olympic Newark 8” (Location: Station Afrique , ile Saint Denis) “My art touches the souls of all who lay eyes on it. I promote peaceful yet gritty displays, with colorful schemes that pop. “If you can imagine it I can create it.” Suliman also believes firmly in the art of collaboration: “It’s not about ego. It’s about how far we go together.”

This theme celebrates the ways Newarkers create home through beauty, memory, protection, and cultural expression. Drawing from home décor shops, candles, textiles, furniture accents, and wall art, it explores domestic space as a site of refuge, identity, and care. Living rooms, kitchens, altars, porches, and gathering corners become places where family history and everyday rituals take shape. Window activations can evoke intimate interior scenes that reflect comfort, spirituality, and belonging, especially within Black and Brown domestic life. This theme frames home not only as a physical space, but as a sanctuary built through design, memory, and the daily practices that make community feel safe and alive.
